Born north of the arctic circle, gowing up under the northern lights during winter darkness and midnight sun during summer time, I have always had a passion for photography.

You know what they say, «join the navy and see the world», so I joined, but did not see the world. So I joined the merchant navy and did see the world. Sailing around the world on board ships, I always had my camera with me. Later, I went ashore and worked within the shipping industry, mainly with ship owners and brokers. A photo is not complete before it is printed, so my interest for printmaking grow… I invested in my first photoprinter in the early 2000’s. The rest is what they say, history.
